I've finally gotten through the licensing process and collected my two firearms!

Generally, my DFO’s office was well organised, efficient, and helpful. On the other hand, the legion of CFR and parliamentary oversight personnel I emailed incessantly were not very responsive or helpful. at some point, CFR “lost” my applications, and the CFR colonel who helped me from that point onwards was much more responsive and helpful (even though they could have shown greater competence/efficiency).

Like for many others here, it was a long and frustrating process…

Hi all,

who ever lives in the Villieria side, some licenses came in on the 24 of January. My friend collected his license that was approved in Nov 2021.

This is 2 renewals not new applications, but I was super surprised at the timelines.

Renewal appointment for my shotgun and AR was on the 7 Dec 2021.

Yesterday received my SMS that both have been approved / issued.
