Sounds like a busy season coming up, G-Force. We will be visiting the Northern Cape in April for springbok (meat). And then in July, Namibia, looking for a good gemsbok or hartebees (meat as well). And to keep us busy in the afternoons when the bok hunting is finished, we will take the shotgun along with for some wingshooting.

Nothing that exciting planned but we did some wing shooting 2 weekends back and had a total bag of 48 between 6 shooters - Cape Teal, Red Bill Teal, Yellow Bill, Shell Duck, Gypo's and Spurwing. Strange thing is we saw plenty birds but in shooting only got adollecent Spurwing.
We are heading back there in March.

Free State in March. Black Wildebeest & springbuck

Karoo in June/July, Kudu & mountain reedbuck

Limpopo in August, Blue Wildebeest & impala.

I'm a meat hunter who likes to shoot old males, not necessarily rowland ward.

We're going to the Thabazimbi area in May for some impala and blesbuck.
So far I'm not too fussed about trophies, I do it mainly for the enjoyment and the biltong.
