2011 IDPA Africa Champs, Monday, 8th August and Tuesday, 9th August 2011

Hi folks,

A quick reminder that the entry form for the Africa Champs has been loaded on the website.

Please get your entries in asap, so that we can finalise all the last minute details.

To qualify for the Champs, you need to be a paid up SADPA member, have done a New Shooter Orientation, in the last 12 months have classified in the Division that you want to participate in and have participated in 2 other SADPA shoots.

The match will consist of 17 Stages and you will require +-250 rounds.

There will be shirts. Everyone will be issued with an XS. Ross will help you fit into it, by either marmelading you into it like mince into a sausage casing or by trimming off what doesnt fit.

The courses of fire are done! Promises to be an interesting shoot! Speed, accuracy and gun handling skills!

I think the mini targets are going to throw some people! Shooters better know the rules or they may find themselves with unnecessary PE's!

There will most definitely be shirts on targets! If anybody has spare shirts to donate to the shoot I'd appreciate it!

What I meant was, are we going to get a Africa Champs 2011 shirt this year?

No we are not going to hand out shirts. The cost is +-R250.00 per shirt.

I'd rather spend that on getting shooters/ SO's to CT for the Southern Nationals and spend it on training for our SO's, like the upcoming Gregg Garret courses that SADPA is paying for. We also have clubs that need swingers, drop turners, etc.

Just like catering, no matter what we supply there will be those that whinge and whine!
