CRKT Crawford Triumph N.E.C.K.
So I got some moeney to spend for my birthday. Bought a CRKT M16-14SFG and this little beauty, the CRKT Crawford Triumph N.E.C.K.
CR2030CW_xlarge_9505_large_48.jpg
It comes with a pretty nice kydex sheath with about one million different possible ways to attach to yourself. And being a engineering student I've already thought of a few more
When I got it the sheath was a bit loose for my liking when you remove the the belt attachement, but some modification with a heat gun fixed that. I also cit away about 5cm from the paracord ends which hang losse from the handle.
It will become my backup knife, and its easy to conceal and comfortable to carry. Only problem is I its a fit difficult to sharpen the recurve with a lansky set, which I use for all my other knives.
It aslo come with a MercHarness, which looks pretty neat but a bit hard to initialy set up. Haven't really tried it out.
For the meney it's a friggin awesome knife.
Anybody alse have any comments/experience with this knife?

I really liked the look of it, but it was too small for my hands when I eventually tried it. I think Geoff Carter might have/had one, not sure.
But in general, you can't go wrong with CRKT. Definititely my favourite brand.Prone to random kindness, lecherous behaviour, imitating D-cups at speed and an outstanding sense of humour. If you don't agree, well fuck you.

Re: CRKT Crawford Triumph N.E.C.K.
I have the cheaper model that is not polycoated and cord wrapped. Bought it for R350 and did the cord wrap myself. It's not that difficult and there are plenty youtibe vids teaching you how. The handle is a little small but IMO it's not a primary blade and I carry it weak side as part of my EDC.
What I did and can give as a suggestion is when I did the cors wrap I extended it above the hilt (if that is the correct term/top of handle) and made a ball. This helps me draw. All I do is get the ball between my pinky and "ring" finger and draw from there. The rest falls into place thereafter. The tech lock sheath is great and with a 1.75" gun belt it does not move around and conceals nicely.

Nice buy, espesially for a b/u because it's so low profile. I removed the para cord on mine after a while though, but still gtg.

If I may ask, how much did you pay and where did you buy?
