Hi Guys

I am currently looking at arming my guys with the Truvelo Raptor 7,62x39mm

Raptor Infantry Rifle Available in Automatic and Semi AutomaticOverall Length: 965mmWeight: 4,6kgFeed System: 35 round detachable box magazineOverall Length with Stock Folded: 750mmAvailable in Calibre 5,56x45 Nato and 7,62x39mmRate of Fire: 600-750 rounds per minute

Does any one have any experience in this weapon, and could you give some input.

I am an Honory Green Scorpion involved in anti poaching in the EC.
Current Weapon is the mini Ruger 14. Calibur is slightly to small.

I see.

As I indicated I don't think that they are in production.

Also AK ammo runs around R8-R10 a round these days. Its a pretty good choice calibre wise for your purpose though.

You should look at the Saiga AKs if you need 7.62. I think Guns and Bows in the cape are the agents.

I will go and check out the Saiga's now. Not to familiar with those rifles.
Any idea on the price range?

I think the Saiga agents are Suburban Guns

Besides the high price of 7.62X39, it seems as if supplies of that ammo is getting a bit patchy. Think twice before investing in this caliber. Have you considered trying to track down any FAL's that might be available out there. How many rifles do you need?

Just a BTW it's only an assualt rifle if it had a fun switch. These Saigas etc are semi auto carbines and rifles.

Ah yes thats right.

On the FAL front: Prices on these have skyrocketed. Classic arms sold 2 on auction the other day. One went for R14k the other for R25k.
