Re: Section 21 Experiment
Rights, so my one Section 21 runs dry at the end of August, and although I am very hopeful that my licence will be approved before then, there is obviously no certainty. Has anyhone re-applied or extended their Section 21 before? What's the process? Do I need to go through the whole process again, or is there someone's arm I can twist, or at least explain to them that for some f@!@##$ up reason they only approved my S21 for 4 months instead of the requested 12 months?

Re: Section 21 Experiment
I would think its a new application Cerop. As with any other licence that nears its "expirey date" the normal process would have to be followed.
Dumb that it was only approved for 4 months?? was it a SD or sport application?

Re: Section 21 Experiment
Was SD, and like I said, I asked for 12 months. Pillocks!
Maybe I must just bleed it out, and worst comes to worst, just book the gun in again if the application drags on. I just don;t have the energy. Besides, I now have my Section 15, just need to go pick up the card from the DFO, so I'll still be armed.
FFS...getting a migraine just thinking of all the hassle...

Re: Section 21 Experiment
If it was like a licence renewal then proof of submitting the application allows you to remain in possession of the firearm till it has been finalised.
I wonder what your DFO would say about that?Be ready for anything, and if his head is not at least two meters away from the body, do not 'assume' he is dead and out of the fight. - Ikor

Re: Section 21 Experiment
Interesting.... Maybe I'll ask my DFO when I go collect my card. If that's the case I might give it a shot, but FFS... they frustrate me!
