Re: Dura Coat
I was watching a programme on DSTV about pythons in the Everglades and the wild life officer had a bright lemon coloured pistol in his holster, I kid you not. At first I thought it was one of those "dummies" they use in holster making but it wasn't.
It looked like a Glock and before anybody starts, no I am not having a dig at Glock owners.

Guys, just as an FYI, you really need to watch the Nutnfancy vids on you tube, he runs the "Nutnfancy Project" and the cr@p they catch on is great. He also does a really great job with gun reviews. Some great entertainment value in what he does.

Re: Dura Coat
Pretty sure what you saw was a Taser. Most LE officers in Florida now carry them on the belt in addition to the sidearm and they do make a full sized model in bright yellow to counter the claims by some bunny-huggers that the officer might get 'confused' and draw a gun instead of the Taser.
Such claims have, in fact, been made a couple of times by officers who just went batshid brain-dead during a fight and shot someone who didn't need shooting, but thus far all have turned out to be BS or a lack of training.
This is the Compact model but the full size, which is used more often in LE, is roughly the same size as a Glock and in a holster could look like one too.
