    Default CS Rajah 3-Opinions

    Hi all,

I have bought a Rajah 3 off a mate who got it as a gift but didn't want it.

I plan to EDC this blade alternating with my trusty Endura 4.

Anyone here have any experience with the Rajah 3?Pros/Cons?

    Thanks

I carried one for a several months last year until I got the SOG Aegis.

Imo the Rajah III is a good defensive and utility knife. The blade grind ensures excellent cutting ability. I have no current opinion on the edge holding ability of the steel because I did not really make a point of checking on it. I do not think it is food prep type utility knife because of the blade to grip angle and the recurve and there are many knives better suited for that purpose but I am sure that was last on the designer's list of intended uses. It will however do the job if needed.

I think the Demko lock is very nice and it is very light on the blade allowing the blade to be easily flicked open. I never experienced the lock not engaging when flicking it open.

I am not a believer in the wave feature or wave like features because I have seen them fail to open due to operator induced error caused by urgency or stress so I just do not use it and in fact I modified my opening disc to be smaller and less acute so as not to open the knife when pulled out of the pocket unless extra effort is used to make it happen. A knife is a back up sd and utility tool for me.

Overall and for the price I like it and I will carry it again.

The grip may be a little bit small for big hands.

I have puny little mickey mouse hands and my opinion is dont get one, get two! only blades I like more are my Khukhri and the SOG Seal Pup Elite
I am studying an awesome brand of leg fighting which was inspired by dung beetles and I think my brand of Kraft Manure is superior to all other styles ever invented. Furthermore I challenge all other manurists to a rolling contest where we shall establish whose manure ball is the biggest! I shall call it Honest Kraft Manure and declare it superior to all other brands of manure and will tell you that I have claimed the lineage directly to Imshi the great Dragon Kru Master Beetler who invented manuring, by gathering all manure from different animals together and making it work as the worlds most effective fertilizer. I proved myself by being members of not one but three super elite special gardening departments who were responsible for spreading manure to combat weed infestations!
