I know there is a thread on the fixed blade section for the HEST, but I figured I would post this here instead and get a thread started in the correct section:

It is a mission getting any info from DPX (maybe because Robert Pelton is a traveling journalist) but I will see Lionsteel ( the manufacturer) at IWA in March and get more info.

What I know is that the HEST Folder production has been scheduled and eta is around the end of April.

It is a great looking knife ready for work IMO. Shame the one in the video is a limited edition. Would have loved to have that as the normal production model.

I will be picking up a sample at the IWA show from Robert Pelton (DPX Gear) on Friday 12 March.

After the initial glitches on the first run and fixing the issues on the first run knives it seems that the second run is gtg.

I will check it out thoroughly when I get the sample and make a call on importing or not. If I am happy I will submit an order at IWA and Pivo I will ask them about the handicapped model
