Here is the only picture I currently have of my BRNO ZKK600 in 30.06

Still in storage with dealer but plans are underway to take it hunting this year. I have a brand new Leupolt VX 3 scope for it, that I managed to pry out of the previous owners hands when I bought the rifle, that still needs to be fitted.

My CZ 550 has undergone some major changes in the last 2 years or so.

My next project is to get a picatinny rail fitted with 20MOA or more slope to get out to 900m, that will enable me to take part in F-TR competitions. After that, a proper bipod needs to be fitted.

    Not your standard Brno/CZ ...

The hair trigger works like a charm, every time!

    Dirk,
Mine looks exactly like that. On top of the barrel mine has a funny looking badge engraved and a number 81 next to it. Does it mean it has been manufactured in 1981?
    What does yours say?
How does one find out things like number of "draaie" in the barrel, the length of the barrel, the action etc?
How does it differ from the ZKK600's that the guys are referring to?

I would love to know what the history and specs of my rifle are - t'will keep me occupied until I'm licensed. For now....the long wait.

    Cheers.

    Hi Hennie,

Great gun you have there, mine is as accurate as ........., mine does not look like some of the other guys' guns, but "hy het nie meer jammerte op hom nie" it a work horse.

I have some info on it, if you send me a personal mail, I'll reply with the stuff I have. I think you can see the year of manufacture, by the start of the serial number, mine was made in 1972.
