Lone Wolf Paul Defender
Hey Guys and Gals
http://www.soonerstateknives.com/LW-...l-Defender.jpg
I recently got my hands on two Lonewolf Paul's Defenders. I got a g10 handled and a coco bolo handled version. These knives are no longer being made by Lonewolf since they were acquired by Benchmade. Benchmade will be launching their own version of this knife soon (its the same knife just re-branded). I was very happy to acquire some of these Lone Branded versions for my collection. The opening mechanism is very novel and once you have it waxed the knife can be opened very quickly, I'm just not sure how strong the button lock is but the knife locks up very securely.
Check out the video to see how the opening mechanism works:

Re: Lone Wolf Paul Defender
Are they specifically designed for defending Paul , or defending against him?

Re: Lone Wolf Paul Defender
I'd keep my back to the wall when defending against Paul!! But jokes aside it was designed by Paul W. Poehlmann and so was named in honour of him. An interesting article on the history and design of the knife: http://www.dougritter.com/Paul_Poehlmann.htm
