    Default Hatsan 95[Mze] .177

I'm new to the group. Glad that I can join. I ordered the Hatsan from Vincent a few weeks ago. He shortened the barrel to 250 cm and added a silencer. I also ask him to de-activate the safety. I added a sling - she's no light weight! I have tested Crosman Heavies[10,5], CZ Boxer[9,1], Cz Standard[7,9], H&N FT[8,7],Baracudas and Gamo T-10 pellets. The Hatsan does well[pigeon head shots at 20m] with the Cz's, Baracudas and FT. T-10 is also doing well but at this stage she is'nt happy with the Crosman Heavies. At first the trigger was a bit heavy , but after tuning it, I'm quite happy with it. The Hatsun is heavy, but my Eps 303 is also heavy and I actually feel happy with two "heavies"! At first the closing of the barrel took some effort, but after adding some moly to the breech pin, it takes a lot less effort to close. Accuracy is quite nice. I'm no target shooter, doing pest control. If I do my part I can keep the shots inside 2cm at 40 meters with a flyer now and then - bad concentration!

From your post it seems as if Hatsan has improved the quality of their springers by quite a bit. The springer I had gave me nightmares. I have the AT44-10 pcp which I got for a steal and I am quite happy with it. Does its best work with 7.87gr GAMO pro match competition pellets.

Just check your tape measure. It must be one you got from a flea market. Barrel shortened to 250cm?? Is your barrel this long?
That is 2.5 METERS?? No wonder the gun is a heavy weight......

ps. Welcome to Gunsite. Beware of the Bok.......

Hatsan is improving : Ouattro trigger and SAS shock absorber! Trigger adjustment is very good. If you really want a nice shooter a visit to Mze[Vincent] will tune the Hatsan to a very effective air gun.

Hatsan now produce the best value for money springers particularly when correctly set up and tuned.
Webley air rifles are built by Hatsan.
The 5mm Webley Value Max is a 5mm version of the 4.5mm Hatsan Striker.
Both the Webley and the Striker are similar in design to the Gamo Hunter 440. They both can be improved by fitting my MZE adjustable trigger manufactured for Gamo air rifles.

    Mze

How much would an adjustable trigger for the Gamo CFX cost and can I fit it myself?

I've just orderd a Hatsan 125 from Vincent with his gas ram piston, 350mm barrel, silencer and 4-12x44 scope. It should push a 8.4gr pellet at 1060 TRUE fps. He's building it for me. Should get it next week, I hope.
