Not really, but generally held opinions seem to favour the above.

Not sure about the 'quality' of the product but the clip is crap and breaks of very easily. Some time ago there was a batch that came in that was apparently a mixture between pepper and tear gas. The importer called the cops and asked them if it was ok and it was declared ok but that was the first and last time. Do not know how potent this was but it would be interesting to know. The can was labeled different with the label being more red and yellow and marked CS.

I would highly reccomend the SWAT Fog derivative of pepper sprays in all it's various configurations and have used it to great effect!

Yes, there are various pro's and cons to either the direct stream or fog (wind direction etc.), but with the main focus of my combatives training being 'up close and personal' (ambushed, taken by surprise etc.) I have found that the real effectiveness (and a doule 'whammy') is that the Fog unit, besides temporarily blinding you and causing a horrible burining sensation of the skin, also really upsets the respiratory system and the associated mucous membranes when inhaled.

Another great thing about the fog unit is that it can be used successfully against multiple attackers where you DON'T have to specifically 'aim' for and specifically target the eyes as you would with the Direct Stream.

I bought some of the KO Pfeffer pepper FOG and am happy to say it is decent.
I tested it outside in my driveway and 2min later my wife came screaming at me as I left the spray scene and went into the bedroom. She was sitting in the living room coughing and her eyes was all watery.... so guys it works, ask my misses.....

I have mistaken a can of pepper spray for, air freshner. Really exciting as 4 of us tried to exit the same door at the same time. grn1
