Default Smith and Wesson Shotgun (aka CBC aka Magtech)

Hi guys, my licence for my S&W pump action shotty came through and I was able to put it through its paces at the CDPC shoot on saturday. Ive spent ages trawling through the net for info on this shotgun and am coming up with very little apart from a few posts on specialist shotgun sites and only to the effect that its a solid simple gun machined from steel with no alloy. Its only unusual feature is a small button on the front left of the reciever that when depressed whilst cycling the pump causes 2 shells, rather than 1, to be ejected from the magazine. I surmise, or rather someone suggested that perhaps this is a feature that may be usefull on a gun that only has a 2 shot tube, for quick unloading. Unfortunately, if depressed accidentally whilst doing some rigorous shooting, it in effect causes a double feed which takes some time to solve. Granted with some more practice, Ill figure out how not to press this button, and If I do, Ill figure out how to rapidly clear it. BUT, I dont particulrly like this feature. I want to know if any other shotties have this feature. It seems a simple mechanism, do any of the shotgun boffins on the forum know whether its worth removing?

The Muslers and Beretta pumps also have a button which releases rounds out the mag.
