Scopes from opticsinternational.co.za??

Hi there.

Has anyone on here purchased from opticsinternational.co.za??? Saw their Advert in the SA Hunter magazine. Just want your guys opinion cause eyeing a S&B scope and their prices are reasonable. Are they legit, as no phone or address is stated.

i see there were no answers here.
has anyone bought from these guys in the meantime? Their pricing looks good but just want to know if they are legit.

My gf's father wants to buy a Swarovski Z5 3.5-18x44 BT and woukdn't like to lose that amount of money to a non legit business. Have checked all shops in PTA but no one has stock.

Would be appreciated if some one could give me some info on this company, or and shop that does have stock.

A quick check on their address locates me smack in the middle of a largish crossing, with security complexes on the two sides (Zinfadel and Belvedere Mews) and a flat wall on the other, with no mentioning of a scope shop.

EDIT: In Durbanville, Cape Town. Make of it what you will, but it's dodgy to me.

I've met Jan. He is genuine , honest and pretty clued up about his products.

We have purchased (my brother and I) quite a number of scopes and binos from Jan (www.opticsinternational.co.za) over the last six months, and as THOMAST has stated, Jan is a genuine guy, honest, clued up about his products, and a pleasure to conduct business with.

Recently bought a Vortex from Jan, looking at a second.

Great service, prompt replies with detail to e-mails etc.
Scope arrived well protected in its package when and where he said it would.

I was happy enough with his pricing and service at the time not to shop around that much this time.

You guys were all a Year and 4 months late

When I put up the first post, my main concern was no contact details on the adverts or the website. Since then, I noticed these have been updated, and funnily enough I chatted to a friend a week ago who bought from there and didn't have any problems. Certain products are actually more expensive than some of the shops specials, but overall the prices seem to be good. Definately going to look at their website before I buy my next set of Binoculars.

Jan has great prices. I have bought from him in the past. However should anyone want Swarovski, zeiss or vortex at better prices send me a pm. All legal and none grey off course.
