Is this accessory available here? I ordered an M&P on friday, but will change it to a Glock 17 if this is available here. I prefer the look/feel of the M&P and went that route because I was told Roni's would become available for them. I really want a carbine for farm use. This though looks much better than the Roni!

HERA Triarii is not here yet.

I checked it out at IWA and can say it is the best made and quickest conversion of all the options out there.

BUT = also the most expensive - guestimate is around R8500 for unit and stock.

Not available for M&P but available for Glock 19/17/34 and 21 and similar sized pistols as well some Sig models currently.

Wow that price puts it out of the running for me by a mile. I see it still does not have a safety of any kind. Looks smart though..

Thanks Khumba and for the chat this morning. Expensive, but from what I've seen seems to be the thing to convert a pistol to a "short barrell rifle". Will definatley be going this route - just need to divert cash to the slushfund! Only drawback is how I'm going to look like a tit after how I've sung the praises of M&P over Glock after shooting my wifes M&P!

I just handled one of these. Very, very nice. I have a Roni already though, so it's not like I'll be able to justify this as well! The takedown/assembly is very fast. I thought the Roni was reasonably quick, but this can be done in seconds (Roni is about 20-30 seconds at a guess). The price is....a bit much for me though IMHO, especially locally.
