I do not know what the fees was and what it is now. Just remember that money talks and and the owner of the land does not share our passion and is not in it for charity.

Re: pretoria east club
Since members don't have to pay range fees ...see the increase as encouragement to go to the range more often to practice. grn1

Re: pretoria east club
I saw the email regarding this club and what the new fees are going to be. Yes, money does not grow on my back and I have to look at how I spend my money and the amount on the email made me look more than twice. However how does this compare with say golf? Look at what people are paying to play golf. Although the fees are high, they are not out of proportion.
I think we in SA is out of the scenario where we had access to cheap ranges and that we have to realise that ranges is land and land is money and we will just have to pay like everybody else. Do I like it....no....but I would rather pay that amount of money and be able to shoot than having to give up shooting as it is to 'expensive'.
Yes, maybe a option would be if the fees could be paid in monthly instalments and maybe this should be looked at.
