COMPETENCY APPROVED AWAITING .270 APPROVAL

Competency approved awaiting 0.270 rifle approval?

I assume that there have been many questions like mine posted on this site. Instead of wasting time searching I’d rather just ask.

My competency was approved on 11 May 2011. I handed the SAPS 517 (competency) and the SAPS 271 (0.270 rifle application) on the same day, which was 15 October 2010.

How long will it take to get the 0.270 rifle application approved? The guy at the call centre said the are busy working on it and it would be in a month or so. Sounds too good to be true? :to:
