    Default HID spotlight

    Ello Gents.

Im looking for a POWERFULL HID searchlight.
This will be left in the bood on duty i will either use my taclite or my surefire.
There is sometimes huge open fields and industrial areas we search for suspects and a normal 5million candlepower makro torch just doesnt cut it.
I want the sun to come up when i take the searchlight out. Ant the beam must still be reasonable focussed.

Oh and did i mention i dont have a huge amount of money to spend. The wolfeyes is in access of R5000 and that is to rich for me.

Please if any one has espereince with this i would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks

    Hi andredt,
you mite want to check out your local Cape Union Mart. They had one there that has 2 settings. We took one camping and it put my 5 million candle power to shame!! Its a little bit big, but very affective!! And from what i can remember it was very reasonable. (under R1000)
