Default DPX Gear NEW FIXED BLADES

DPX Gear HEST II.jpgDPX Gear HEFT 4.jpgDPX Gear HEST II.jpg

I have been informed by DPX Gear that their 3 new fixed blades made their debut at the Atlanta Blade Show this past weekend and should be shipping to dealers from the end of July 2011.

DPX H.E.S.T. II Fixed blade in Assault and Woodsman models.

DPX H.E.F.T. (Hostile Environment Field Tool) in 4" and 6" blade lengths and in Assault and Woodsman models.

The info I have is that all the models will feature the excellent and high performance Uddeholm Sleipner steel.

Pricing is unknown at this time.

Looks nice. I am not particularly one for a fixed-blade knife, but that wood looks exceptionally good on the H.E.S.T. II!

Looks the same but the steel is the THING. Awesome steel - modern D2.

Why havnt they kept the canvas micatra handle?

I am getting more info in the next week or so.

They have all three fb's in Assault and Woodsman - Assault = Micarta scales & Woodsman = Wooden scales

DPX pushed the production release for the folders and fixed blades out to early August -

I am anxiously waiting to hear what I will get and hopefully I get all of what I ordered .....
