If I remember the story correctly, Bear Grylls used to endorse a made by Rob Bayley. Being a custom knife, the waiting list is around 7 years, so I assume that Bear decided that the 'commission' would be better elsewhere? Unfortunately, I've largely lost faith in Gerber in recent years and this also has a cheaper look to it, but it's not overly expensive.

Not yet - I have a sample which I carry and use regularly = my favorite folder.

We placed an order in early March but the knives (the Folder V2 and the FBs) were "released" at the Blade show in Atlanta this past weekend.

DPX informed me that the folders should ship from around the end of June to mid July - hopefully.

We will stock the DPX range here in SA.
