Stupid question
Hi there guys.
I am in the process of submitting the necessary documents, but need some advice:
I am applying for 2 firearms, the one a 30-06 and the other a .22. Now my question is:
When I submit my apllication for the competency certificate, can I submit my firearm application at the same time, or will they inform me when to submit the application?
Do I have to submit 2 forms for competency (one for 30-06 and one for .22) or will one form do??
Thanks all!!

Re: Stupid question
One competency form.
You can submit everything at once. They won't look at your apps till you have your competency though.Cattle die, kindred die, every man is mortal:
But I know one thing that never dies,
the glory of the great dead.

Re: Stupid question
if you're relicencing then submit them at once.
if they're new applications then I suggest you do them seperately. Yes, it'll take 1 or 2 trips more to the station but the delay in licencing appears to be in them marrying the competency certificate to the correct file.
I did em seperately. took 3 months each
and its not a stupid question

+1000000000000000000000000 Lone Ranger.
They tend to missfile the licence app while they process the competency, therefore you end up waiting a good few extra months.
That happened to me and a few others

Re: Stupid question
Thanks guys. I am really looking forward to getting the licence, as somehow my dad bought a Parker-Hale 30.06 about 6 years ago, and now he wants to give it to me. We have both never seen the rifle, and it's a bit impossible at the moment to view it, as there is a matter of 580km to deal with...
