Want to buy a new SD handgun.
Hi guys. There's a Glock 26 for sale that I'm interested in buying. I already own the BHP for SD & the HS for sport. Now if I wanna buy the G26 for SD, I'm sure I'll have to sell the BHP. Will it be a problem to apply for a new SD gun ? I obviously have my competency. What do you guys suggest

Become a dedicated sportsman. Keep them all.
Otherwise, tell them in your app that you will sell the HP upon issue of a licence for the 26.
Why the 26 if I may ask?Cattle die, kindred die, every man is mortal:

Only 1 SD allowed. md217
You can apply and declare (I suppose and affidavit or such would impose more of an obligation and be worth more to convince CFR of your intent in this case than a mere declaration of intent) that you will sell your BHP if the 26 license is granted.

Re: Want to buy a new SD handgun.
well you belong to a club so how many licences can you get on a handgun?
and here's an idea... does your wife belong to a club? if so then let her licence your BHP on her name. that way you dont lose your first peice. and get the G26 on your name for self defence.

Re: Want to buy a new SD handgun.
The G26 is selling for cheap with a lot of accessories plus it's smaller than the BHP, which is getting a bit too big & heavy after so many years of carrying. Why do you ask SSP, wha't wrong with the G26?

Unless you absolutely cannot conceal or carry a larger piece, I'd go with something larger.Cattle die, kindred die, every man is mortal:

Apply for 26, and at the same time I'll apply for the BHP wich you are gifting to me.
