    Default Polymer Safe Carbon Cleaner/degreaser

This may have been covered before, if so I apologize.

I am looking at purchasing some cleaning products to clean and maintain my H&K USP.

I have see some good comments on the forums about Slip2000 gun lube, and Slip2000 EWG, and I'm going to go with that for my lubrication purposes.

As you know the USP is a polymer pistol. I wanted to know if anyone has had some experience with the Slip2000 Copper Cutter or 725 Gun cleaner/degreaser products on a polymer pistol?

If so are these products polymer safe?

    Are they effective?

I can't seem to find this info out on the Slip2000 web site.

    Thanks for your input.

As far as I know, both of those products are polymer safe. I have it on good authority that they work very well.

In your opinion between Slip2000 Copper cutter, Gun scrubber, 725 Gun cleaner/degreaser, and barrel magic SCS, which would you say is the better product?

And for lubricating the pistol, should I be going for the Slip2000 gun lube, or the Slip2000 EWL?

I have only used Barrel Magic. It didnt seem to work. The patch didnt change colour at all. (as its apparently supposed to)

I have never used the others.

I have also never noticed any degree of copper fouling in any of my pistols.

I run EWL. But thats because I am cheap and want to run one lubricant on all of my guns, including auto loading rifles.

The Slip2000 should serve you just fine.

I run EWL in everything as well. For anything to replace that it would need to come with a Bulgarian stripper in the bottle or something.
