Not sure if this has already been covered but for my 9mm S13 Sig P290RS application:
I got an SMS saying it receives attention at the DFO - 04/12/2019 - so that is last year:
Since 9 March it has been stuck on "For Consideration"

I went to see my DFO today who basically told me to go away (the usual friendly one was not there, her less friendly understudy was there) as under Covid19 they are not really active and I must call CFR. Tried to call CFR with no luck. I have emailed CFR many times on different emails over the past few weeks , with one reply from Captain Sifiso Nkabinde who was friendly and told me to try again in future....

What must I do... what can I do?

    Hi Scubes,

From what I have seen on this forum as well as on GOSA Facebook Page is that you are not the only one in this situation.

I asked my DFO about the delays and she says it has all to do with the lockdown and the recent amnesty.
There seems to be a huge backlog at many stations across the country.

If you also include that we have to deal with SAPS who happens to be a ANC govt institution, well, you know what that means, right?

Hopefully your license app gets approved soon! Strongs!
