    Definitely no scanning at Wierdabrug as well, they review, capture details on system and then take actual application to Provincial.

    They dont even have a functional printer a lot of the times, never mind a high capacity scanner.

    I asked this question as my DFO explained that they will take 4 to 6 weeks to process my application, I asked why and they explained the process. One part of the process is to make a copy of your application should anything happen to your application like an appeal or something. The other parts were the safe inspection, documentation inspection etc.

    Well, this what the DFO told me so who knows... maybe its just our station.

    Ok so there is hope, I have now moved to “Sent to provincial DFO” after being on payment received for a while.

    No idea how two applications handed in at the exact some time don't get sent off to provincial at the same time? ...but it seems there is no rhyme or reason with these applications. Ive been patient for a year and a half now with this process, I shall continue to be. Really wish it was the Beretta that was the "favoured" app though

    My section 16 app has finally been sent to CFR after being at KZN provincial DFO for almost 3 months.
