Please help me in deciding !!!

I have an option to buy one of two second hand Sako rifles, but can't make up my mind if to buy it and which caliber to go for.

One is a Sake Forester .308 .

The other is the Sako .30-06, not sure which model .

Both have Bushnell scopes, can't remember which ones.

And also includes gun bags , slings , etc .

Now both guns are in excellent condition and I doubt that the guns even fired 10 rounds each.

Do you guys think R13000-00 each is a good price for the rifles ?

And I heard from people that the Sako's are excellent rifles, but that it is to lite for those calibers and kicks like a mule !

What are your opinions on the rifles and price ?

And your opinion that it is to lite for a rifle of that calibre ?

Nothing wrong with sako, wouldnt even think about it , id go for the 30-06. Just gives you more options and a brilliant all rounder.

Sako's are terriffic rifles.

Read the various .308 vs 30-06 threads and you will find your answer. If your hunting the 30-06 is the one. Tactical, competition go for the .308

I own a Sako 30-06 and the recoil isnt a problem. Its actually a very nice rifle to shoot.

Depending on the condition of the rifle and accesories R13 000 could be expensive or a steal.
