Default .308 Musgrave modifications and accessories

OK, so my license has been approved, just waiting to collect. I bought a .308 Musgrave from a friend who emmigrated to Aus, he worked in the factory and personally chose the components. Currently is has a Timney trigger and has only fired about 20 rounds. Seeing as I only paid R2,5k for what I consider a bargain I can throw some money at it. So far I am planning on a silencer from ARMS in Pretoria. What would you guys recomend I do else? as this will be my long range weapon of choice...
    Case or bag and which?
Scope? reasonably priced? (currently has a Nikko Sterling Gold Crown)
    Bipod?
    Ammo?
    etc?

What glass do you have on it..?Arms is good, but have a look at Numenor's reflex silencers as well, very quiet and does not make the rifle much longer as it extends rearward over the barrel.I'd recommend a nice drag-bag that fits in a case for transport & when moving around with it it's still in a bag that folds open to double as a shooting mat.My 2c

Nikko Sterling Gold Crown, I think it is a 3 by9 something - that said I am a Luepold fan and was hoping for advice on magnification etc.

My vote will go for Luepold VariX2 or better in 3-9...
but then again, I've got a crappy BushnellBanner on my .243 & it's damn accurate...
