Hatsan AT44-10
Hi, I was recently offered a Hatsan at44-10 at my local gun shop for a little under 5k with all accessories (filling pump, silencer, nikko sterling scope), firstly if anyone has any feed back on the rifle if you have come across or shot one, my main concern being is that I have heard a few saying that it has a very heavy trigger.
I am accustomed to shooting with my Anshutz model 380, a field target gun with a touch trigger(super light), if anyone has any feed back on how the Hatsans trigger reacts, and if/how adjustable is it, as i would preferable want as sensitive a trigger I can possibly have.
Much thanks Kevin.

And....... I'm buying one myself next week (Actually a .22), after spending about two months researching which PCP I should purchase as an 'entry-level' airgun, so if you can wait a week or so, I'll tell you myself. FYI, the trigger pull and other aspects are fully adjustable to your own preference, quite easily.
BTW, I just heard from an (apparently) excellent source that it is possible to convert a 'springer' (AKA break-barrel) into a compressed air weapon, go figure.

Re: Hatsan AT44-10
The Hatsans need some tinkering to get them to perform at their best, but they can be good.

Re: Hatsan AT44-10
Hi Kevin,
Hopefully you purchased your AT44-10.
I have had mine for approx 6 months now with absolutely no issues at all. I fitted a 6-25 x 50 Nikko Sterling Game King scope and it performs flawlessly. Zeroed it at 40 meters and have taken out meerkat as far as 95 meters with one shot. Accuracy is amazing.
I use the heavier 10.3gr Air Arms pellets. They seem extremely accurate with enough energy being transferred.
I saw a AT44-10 being adveretised for R6999 over the weekend, so their prices are definitely climbing. Also have a look at Hatsan's new 1250fps PCP. Very nice, but I think it is a bit on the heavy side.
Ciao

Re: Hatsan AT44-10
Hi Guys,
I have had some great times with my Hatsan AT44-10 .177 and like P30 says, it is very accurate. I know this is not the place to do it, but I am upgrading to an FX .22 PCP and is looking at selling my Hatsan AT44-10 with all the accessories. It is worth stating however, that I am not selling my Hatsan because its not as accurate as the FX [its actually a bit more seeing as it has a fully rifled barrel unlike the FX] but rather because I need the money for the accessories.
If you want to I can upload or send pics of 25m shoots with the Hatsan a week ago.
