Dropped Leupold help...
I managed to drop my damn scope this weekend , fell on it's nose and dented the front piece, other than sending it to the states is there any way I can unscrew the front piece and replace it?

Re: Dropped Leupold help...
Rather send it to a pro, its so easy to screw it up even if you know what you are doing. I also believe it voids the warranty if you open it up.

No, rather bite the bullet and send it to Leupold. Pack it well, postal services are not too gentle.

Re: Dropped Leupold help...
i had to send an old leupold to the states through their agents here. take two plastic bottles (size depends on the diameter of your scope) the cut them so that your scope will fit in the bottom of both. fill the bottles with some bubble wrap, then place the scope inside and wrap that in bubble wrap. the tape it. seemed to work fine for me.
hope that helps
