Re: Glock 22//S&W686 .357 magnum//Horton special 2inch .44 magnum
Its a dilemma as they are good guns.
I wish I knew a way to license such a problem.

If it is legally possible, I guess that some good Samaritan would be willing to license them under his own name (DHS or DSS) for the British owner. It would have to be a gentlemans agreement - legally they belong to the SA licensee, but the British gentleman would be able to visit his guns as often as he like.

Problem is getting them licensed.
If a gun is not on the license system it is illegal.

Can't say I would agree with pdh because by issuing a temporary import "permit" they must have been on the system surely ?
I wonder if the sap would issue another temp import permit at the airport without actually inspecting the guns ?
Or just renew the temporary import of 1998 ?
Looks like it may have to be an angle grinder which will break someones heart !

In the UK a dealer can take in a firearm without a license, such as from a deceased estate etc. So can a South African dealer do the same ? Anyone know ?

Well, we are potentially five years closer to an amnesty. And that would be an opportunity to carpe.
