My Cogswell and Harrison (About 100 years old)"The Avant Tout"
Like my James Woodward too, but it needs a bit of maintenance."Guns are just tools, the way they're used reflects the society they're apart of, if you don't like guns, blame it on society" ~Chris Kyle

Re: whats your favourite gun for wingshooting
It takes a minute or two to load both barrels. I can get off about 100 shots in a good days shooting. It is a slower, more relaxed way of doing things. Cost per shot is similar to modern cartridges so I save a lot of money by shooting less shots than I would if shooting modern (usually about 250 shots in a day). I still get in a good full days shooting so I am happy regardless of how many or few shots I fire. The slow loading routine only becomes an issue when the pigeons a coming thick and fast. When shooting other gamebirds it is not really an issue since you never have a constant stream of birds coming your way and there is always more than enough time to load between. It is however, very rewarding to bring down any bird with an old smokepole. I can highly recommend it.
