Johannesburg - An elderly woman was strangled to death in her Parkview, Johannesburg home after walking in on a house robbery, Gauteng police said on Sunday.
The woman, 65, returned from a nursery on Friday afternoon when she found the men in her house, lieutenant colonel Lungelo Dlamini said.
"She was strangled with an electrical cord."
Police were contacted after her body was discovered at about 14:30. Dlamini said police were investigating and no arrests had been made.
