PDPC February Club Shoot, Saturday, 11th February 2012; Handgun and Shotgun

Hi guys,

I’ve had to move the February club shoot forward. It willnow take place on Saturday, 11^th February in the format of aHandgun and Shotgun shoot.

You may participate in only the handgun portion of the shootor in both disciplines. The disciplines will be scored separately.

Registration: 08h30
Shootingstarts: 09h00 (Both disciplines will start at the same time; i.e. we will havedetails starting
on the handgun stages as well as the shotgun stages.)
Roundcount: Handgun – minimum of 70 / Shotgun – minimum of 25 (Only birdshot; 7’sand
smaller may be used.)
Catering: Cold drinks, water and crisps on sale
Braai fires will be lit after the shoot. Bring your own meat and drinks.
Cost: PDPC members – R0.00 / Other SADPA members = R80.00
Registration: Book by sending me an e-mail with the following info;
Name & surname
SADPA number
Handgun Division and Classification
Shotgun Division (If you are shooting Shotgun)
SafetyOfficers: Please let me know if you are willing and able to SO on the day!
Rules: Go and read the IDPA Multi Gun Rules!
Know whatPatrol Ready and Cruiser Ready are!
Know what themaximum number of rounds is that you may load in your
shotty and how many youmay have on your person!

If you reply to me via theSADPA Yahoo Group or fail to supply the relevant info I will not register you!

Good day Ross!!

I'm interested to go and support this day and maybe want to join the club and learn more about how to get DSS status, because I need to apply for a semi auto shotgun.

I would like to know if you could please state were this event would take place, the location and adress.

Ghost, it is a SADPA shoot. Go to www.sadpa.co.za, see where PDPC is and see what the requirements are. If you want to participate further you'll need to become a member and do an introductory course and classifiying shoot.

Just make sure you have a good look at the directions even though the map is nice and clear that last bit of dirt road is tricky.

Hi Guys,

The shoot on Saturday is stipulated as 2 gun. Could I still shoot even though I only have a handgun? Really want to get a shoot in this weekend and been dying to go check out PDPC.

You can shoot only the handgun part of the shoot or do both.

Awesome! Thanks G-force. Who do I contact to register for the shoot? Does it matter that I don't have the results yet from my first qualifier that I shot last Saturday? I'm pretty sure I will end up as novice with the way it went.
