    Default NEA15/ Accessories

What accessories will you guys be putting on your NEA15" or other AR's for that matter? Is there a specific "formula" or "rule" in this regard? When I was still in the "mag" we taped maglites to our R1's. So, my knowledge in this regard is very limited. It seems every body has another opinion in this regard.

I am currently looking at the Inforce light and Lucid RDS, all from Honey Badger Armaments.

What els? Backup iron sight vs laser? Or Vertical Fore-Grip vs Angled Fore-Grip?

I like Travis Haley's opinion in Adaptive Carbine. Take all the shit off your carbine first and learn to run it without fuss. Then only when you identify a need for something specific, put it on but make sure it doesn't screw with your fundamentals or mess with your grip etc. So far I've been really happy with Magpul MOE furniture, Aimpoint H-1 and a couple of goodies to make it lefty friendly. People seem to think that every piece of rail-space must have something on it to make it tacticool. Minimalism is better IMO.

    What he said.

You NEED iron sights and magazines.

Learn to run the gun like that first. Find a grip and style that is efficient.

Then, consider that mission drives the gear train. Determine what accessories are essential for your mission, be it SD, sport or whatever.

Then add accessories around your hands on the gun.

Aimpoint comp3. Just got my quick release from American Defense. Shweet!

Went for the comp over the micro as the comp has 2MOA dot where micro has 4MOA.

got a miad on my 15-22 and i like the "fatter" grip (not the backstrap part) and the insert/divider on the front part, between the fingers.
just feels "nicer" or maybe it's just my subconscious justifying why i got it....
