Re: Ammunition Pricing
Sorry if this was posted somewhere - interwebs are off so I'm on my mobile and the searching is not lekker.
I'm in need of some .45 ACP range ammo. Anybody saw some good deals in the Pretoria area lately?Be ready for anything, and if his head is not at least two meters away from the body, do not 'assume' he is dead and out of the fight. - Ikor

Re: Ammunition Pricing
The Fiocchi .45 ACP is also very reasonably priced, bought from Paul.

Re: Ammunition Pricing
@RF - thanks.
@ Dinat - sent him a mail too - maybe that could work.Be ready for anything, and if his head is not at least two meters away from the body, do not 'assume' he is dead and out of the fight. - Ikor

Re: Ammunition Pricing
No .45 Winchester ammo currently available from Nic Yale AFAIK. Might get in December shipment if we are lucky.

Yeah, well... In the end I just had to bend over and take it. :o(
Guess I'll be shooting limited Vickers on all stages tomorrow.

Re: Ammunition Pricing
So I got my G19, and the dealer was totally out of ammo. He gave me 15 of his own reloads, but I didn't veel too good carrying it around, and I didn't have time to buy any ammo from my local dealers(in Krugersdorp) before leaving for Durban for work. I stopped in Harrismith to buy some sd ammo, and found the prises a bit upsetting.
R150 for Nobleteq reloads(25)
R 250 for Magtech guardian gold +p 115g jhp's.(20)
Really hope the prices are better back home, because I plan on testing my edc sd ammo thoroughly through my g19, end want to join a sadpa club without spending my whole salary on ammo!

Re: Ammunition Pricing
Don't carry ammo you don't trust. Look at Winchester Ranger ammo, they run at around R350~R400 for a box of 50, meaning you can fill up three mags with one box. Buy two boxes, shoot out a few mags and then carry the rest if you see they cycle, feed and fire well!
