Re: Hunting Photos
Congratulations B-west, Dinat & Rigby.
Nice animals, great photos.
Rigby, that is a great looking rifle & interesting calibre.
Dinat how is the 'Nightforce' scope at dusk & dawn & in the cold? Great rifle too by the way.

Re: Hunting Photos
Thanks guys
The NF has the NP R2 reticle, the glass is clear and scope built like a tank. The whole reticle illuminates red as opposed to a red dot. The reticle is thin compared to other scopes but I have no issue whereas initially I thought I would struggle.
For dusk and dawn i have had no issues. It's the NXS 3..5-15x 50.
Pics not mine but really shows off illumination contrast if required. No issues in cold..

Re: Hunting Photos
Zebra harvested close to Hoedspruit! He was standing at 250m and was looking side on, we managed to close the gap to 170m and he spotted movement as we got ready to fire he turned and looked down at us at the bottom of a hill head on! I couldn't wait for a side shot and decided to hit him square in the chest and he was done in 50m after he reared up and almost fell on his back!! Through the lungs and clipped the heart, no bullet recovered unfortunately!!

Re: Hunting Photos
Cheers! Thank you very much!! Only starting with it now, the pajama donkey being the longest so far.... so I'm sure it's going to be even better when I start stretching the legs even more!!

Re: Hunting Photos
Congratulations B- Rad.
A painted horse always makes a good trophy. What are you doing with the meat. Mine slaughtered out 174 kg's last winter and let me tell you, you can eat only that much donkey meat...
I made a flat skin with mine.
