Lead away cloth

Could anyone comment if these clothes work well at removing lead from revovers.

I have been told to keep them clear from blued guns as they can remove the bluing? are they safe to use on Nickel finished revolvers?

Any feedback will be appreciated.

They do work well on stainless guns. I would be leery of too much use with a nickle revolver as well, but it depends on how bad the lead deposits are. I have even seen products like Semichrome and Flitz wear nickle away...

Some guys say that the IOSSO bore cleaner will work well on nickle / blue guns, but I have never used it and I have no idea where you might find some in SA...
