Had a chat with my DFO this morning regarding a delay in getting my application from the local police station to the Western Cape firearms office. He mentioned that I should expect additional delays when it finally reaches Pretoria as twenty one (21) CFR employees have been recently fired for corruption. The more things change, the more they remain the same.

Which station and for how long has it been waiting?

I know I am being impatient cos it's only been a week now but mine hasn't even been captured yet... 10 days ago!

Hi, I need some advice please.

I currently have a CZ83 (9mm short) licenced under S13 which is expired. My intention is to re-apply under the current amnesty, but for a Section 16 licence in order to free op the S13 spot. I currently have dedicated status with NHSA.

I also have a Sig P320 (9mm) lisenced under S15. If I apply for the CZ under S16, will they not come back and say I could use the P320 for sport shooting purposes?

What would be the best approach for my motivation?
