Re: STICKY: Motivation Letter Ideas and Examples.
As far as I know it’s not required, just the thought that it can’t hurt.

Re: STICKY: Motivation Letter Ideas and Examples.
Im inheriting 3 rifles and ive bought a pistol i intend to license them all under section 15 as occasional hunting for the rifles and sport shooting for the pistol but i don't have any evidence of hunting or sport shooting as i cant participate without a firearm will this be reason enough to deny my application? thanks for any help

I'm with Natshoot. I would guess that would be the quickest way to get the ball rolling with your app. Just because they are so efficient, endorsements are issued almost immediately and they reply to queries same day sometimes.
If you wish to join other organizations like 3 gun nation you can always do so simultaneously.

Re: STICKY: Motivation Letter Ideas and Examples.
My dad handed in a application today, CFR has requested pictures of the individual shooting and targets as well for all s15 applications. DFO is so baffled as to who makes up these rules. Can anyone confirm is this the new norm?

Re: STICKY: Motivation Letter Ideas and Examples.
Good morning everyone
I have been hunting for >20yrs and I'm thus very familiar with guns in general. I only applied for my competency this year (after having done the practical and law in 2009 already) and it was approved recently.
I now want to get all my ducks in a row to submit my applications for the following:
1. .270 Winchester Sako which I intend to take over from my father (who is the licensed holder at the moment) under Section 15
2. Glock G43x 9mm (which I intend to buy) under Section 13
I am a member of Natshoot and have looked at the motivation letter samples which they provide.
I was hoping that someone might be able to help me out with a sample motivation letter (and supporting documents) for the above applications, please? I would serve as a good guideline for me.
Many thanks in advance.
