Default Steyr - Mannlicher .338 Win. Mag.

Got this a while ago , didn't realise quite how unique it was.

It also has a spare magazine rebated into the R/H side of the stock.

I handled and shot it - a real beauty.

Post a pic of the unique spare mag side of the stock.

Same bolt design as utilised on the SSG 69 with rear locking lugs.

Beautiful Rifle. Everyone who shoots a bolt action rifle should at some stage own a Steyr. At some point I will buy their scout. This is for the purists :)

Frank, that is a awesome rifle. Surely one hell of a caliber. 300gr Steward at 2300fps, or 200gr Nosler at 2840fps, no problem.

Would not mind her amongst my rifles. Damn, I'm jealous.

Does it have the Steyr SBS safety system? Also what scope is on the rifle?

The firing pin does protrude, but it locks on the rear . Not sure if the other features are included.
