    Default Sub-MOA with muzzleloader

I've noticed that my CVA Electra (no traditionalist flames please) has started to settle down. I took it to the range on Sunday and shot three Harvester Scorpions 300gr (45 Sabot) and had a reasonable 3 inch grouping at 102m. I was quite pleased with that so I pulled out my 260gr Harvester Scorpions PT Gold (Ballistic tip). I was using 100gr SDX pistol.

Well the first one went slightly high but on the 1 inch bull. The second one touched that one but to the left and the third was straight through the center. 1/2 inch grouping at just over 100 yards!

Yes I was resting it - I don't shoot that well :) but I'm very happy with the CVA's performance. I cannot get that from my Pedersoli or my Traditions.

That's incredible! From the sounds of things, that kinda of accuracy with a front stuffer is almost unheard of. You must be well chuft!

Hi, is the 100gr load you mention volumetric or by weight? I also have a CVA Electra and have not yet found it's sweet spot due to the lack of variety when it comes to bullets

Sheez...I have TC Omega inline....man I am struggling to get any form of respectable group from it...its a real pain. These rifles are advertised as MOA accurate...ya right!!
