Does anyone know of a range where I could do a bit of practice with my rifle? Cape Town area.

Atlantis, up to a thousand meters if they close the top gate.

False Bay Gun Club near Fish Hoek, 120m or so.

Hi Greyhound. In the CT area you've got KSC, which has a decent 5 positions, covered 100m range. KSC also has a 240m range (10 position prone and 5 position seated) = no cover. Durbanville has a 20+ position seated / covered 200m range and a 10 position seated / covered 300m range.

Hi. Get hold of your local bisley club. Those boys shoot at military ranges. I feel shooting a .30 at sub 300m is like driving a Ferrari in the yellow lane. PM if you want info
