    Default CZ Phantom reviews

Hi guys wanted to know what you think of the CZ Phantom. I am looking to get it as my 1st pistol. I would really appreciate to know from someone that owns one. Whats the opinions on it for carry?

    Default CZ Phantom reviews

i like its slim sleek profile and the very comfortable grip angle and profile. it has a high capacity of 19 and its a light weight gun. its VERY accurate and easy to shoot and at 20m i find easier to headshot repeated with the phantom than with other guns. (that sighting plain is useful)
recoil is hardly felt so follow up shots are accurate and easy.

    one thing i hate:

THAT F_)(&*&%KING decocker! why the F(*&(K they go and F)(*^&K up an excellent concept??

but wait a bit there is a version that is comming soon that will give the user the option of cocked & locked , decock only , DAO.

i would have prefered the HK USP style safety or even better the SAW MP with safety.

but its a brilliant gun and i like it

and i forgot to say , the trigger improves drastically after shooting it so dont fret that when you get it.

9900 is a very good price

get some extra mags at the same time - they expensive but worth it and they interchangeble with all my other cz which is nice.

unlike my HK USP the mags dont interchange between full and compact which i feel is a bummer

It comes with one extra mag so I think I will stick with the two and get an old 75B mag if I really find a reason. It seems almost childish to potentially carry 57+1 rounds even for practice at the range. The new CZ P-07, which is the latest compact uses a unique mag, unlike all other 75 derivatives.

Do you see a benefit of more than 2 mags in such a high cap pistol? I just thought with 39 you can do a good drill with mag change and you have a one spare mag to call on when needed.
