I would get the howa barelled action in 243. Buy a Boyds laminated stock for R1500 and cut it off to fit the boys.

I think that a barrelled action either way may be in pole position right now. I really like the nostalgia of of a Musgrave but like Messor says, I too like new stuff. New stuff takes the guesswork out and carries a warantee.

A boyds stock was on the menu if a barrelled action one the race.
