Pricey like the other piston AR's - at $1995 it will most probably be around R25k or more over here.

If Ruger does not even want to send us high cap mini 14 mags I doubt that one of them will end up here. ???

I wonder how long it will take for them to recall this one.

Ruger will not be able to keep up with demand on this one. I think HK can kiss their sales good bye.

Folks will buy the Ruger , good quality , value for money and AFTER SALES SERVICE.

    Good move by Ruger.

Ruger gets a lot of practice with their after sales service. Their recent products are so bad that they have to keep recalling them.

Frankly, there are a hell of a lot better and proven AR's available for $2k.

Time will tell, but my guess is they won't sell well domestically. Ruger's strong suit has always been that they offered good value and performance for the money. IF they can actually sell these at or around half of their list in the states, they will sell, if not, they will go nowhere. There is no crying demand for a piston AR since the standard DI system works fine as is, and the parts used in the AR versions are so comparatively small and fragile anyway. If and when H&K gets US production underway they will sell some...likely more than Ruger...but mostly only to H&K fans, I don't see them doing all that well either given their ridiculous pricing.
