Convicted Bad Cop out on bail told to report for duty......
This is a disaster in the making. I can well imagine the extent of the utter demoralisation it's having on any decent cops that may be left at that station. Sheer and utter lunacy.
Just check out the first -and so far only- comment by the moron 'VernE' that doesn't realise as soon as the story is online, its in the international public domain, DUH!

A NELSON Mandela Bay policeman – out on bail after spending three years behind bars following his arrest for a cash-in-transit heist and armed robbery – has been ordered to return to work at the Kabega Park police station. His infuriated colleagues said they had been told yesterday to come to terms with the decision by provincial police to reinstate Constable Sakhumzi Wilborforce Makonxa, 31, and not to victimise him.
This comes just days after acting Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi said he was "cleaning house” and vowed to root out corrupt officials "once and for all”. Mkhwanazi’s promises mean nothing to Makonxa’s furious colleagues, who fear for their lives after Makonxa allegedly told police management he would not be responsible for his actions if they forced him to return to work, saying they are victims of a system that is providing a robbery suspect with a firearm.
"He [Makonxa] was phoned and told to resume work on Saturday, but he said he was unstable and could not be held accountable for his actions,” one irate officer said. "This is madness. Management does not realise what the consequences could be if he just starts shooting.
"Senior management have not only put us, but also the public, in a position where we are now the victims of a failed system that has led to the reinstatement of Makonxa.” Another officer said his colleagues at the Kabega Park police station, and police at the surrounding stations, were outraged.
"He [Makonxa] works shifts, which means he either has access to all the guns in the safe or goes out on the road and comes into your house when you call the police,” another official said. "Would you want to let a man who is out on bail for [alleged] double armed robbery into your home in an emergency?” Makonxa and two other men, were arrested three years ago in connection with a cash-in-transit heist at Crazy J’s Liquor Store in Mdantsane near East London.Best SD weapon ever? The one on you when the SHTF.
