I sleep with mine, under my pillow above my left shoulder. Just watch out for cotton build up.

What could also be a viable avenue is using a high night stand. If your hand is able to freely access the bottom of the night stand you could attach a holster the bottom. Hence should any unsavory characters make their way into your roon it will be out of sight.

He said "burning" CD's, not playing them!

My suggestion is put a security door right in front of your bedroom. That way the BG can't surprise you next to your bed. Also, install a few cheapish beams to a buzzer near your bedroom window. Whatever they use can't work if you have an early warning system. I think you guys are missing that point. Sadly TIA where we live in jails built by ourselves. But work on getting an early warning system... you never know what marakas you can cause when the early warning has been sounded ;-) .

Very true, we have beams around the house (linked to the alarm system) that covers all windows, this help with 2 attempted breakins the last 5 months where they broke 3 windows.

Caught myself a BG the very night after installing my RoboGuards.

my thoughts about this CD/whatever burning urban legend is that if it worked surely by now people would be abusing it recreationally, or some lab would have validated it. An article I read by an anaesthetist said you need very carefully controlled levels of narcotic agents to ensure unconsciousness and not death or wakefulness. hard to control the concentrations in a randomly sized house.
