Ive had some SERIOUSE over penetration with 180gr XTP's, and my gun (Vektor SP) dosent like anything thats even close to "hot" on the load scale. I was getting propper expansion on the round, they where just going stright through two properly soaked and taped together wet packs at 10m.

Im not saying dont carry them, just be mindfull.

Thats ok. Too much penetration is always better than too little.
