IDPA club match at Kraaifontein, Cape Town 23/05/2009

Hi all

Please note that the IDPA Club Match scheduled for the 30th is cancelled as that's the same weekend as the TDPC League Match, which some of our members will be attending. We’ll thus be shooting an IDPA Club Match at KSC on 23 May 2009.

Match briefing, signing-in, detailing etc. will start at 10h00 on Range 15 (see attached) and we hope to kick-off with the Match at 10h30 (on ranges 13, 14 and 15). The match fee to shoot the Club Match is R30 per shooter. In addition to this fee the KSC range fee for shooters from other accredited Clubs (please don’t forget your Club and SADPA membership cards) is R50 per shooter. The CLUB fee is paid when you sign-in at the Clubhouse and the MATCH fee is paid when you sign-in for the match at Range 15. Note that there is also an IPSC 3-gun match on the same day so please make sure that you enter and pay for the correct match!

SOs for the shoot are Riaan, Keith and Theunis. SOs must please be at the range at 09h00 for the SO briefing, to supervise setting-up the CoFs and to shoot (SOs only). Remember SOs don't pay the match fee to shoot and the SOs shoot the match as the first detail. All shooters must assist with range set-up and range break-down. If you are unable or unwilling to assist then please liaise with the MD as absence during range set-up and break-down could have dire consequences for your score sheet...

We'll be shooting 3 Courses of Fire and a 100 rounds should be enough.

Big-up gangstah style to the SOs ( incl. you BoerBok) that ran this match on Saturday! It was an awesome match even if we only ran 3 focussed, realistic and intensive CoFs. Who'd have thought that shooting "weak-hand supported" would've thrown so many shooters! whp
